39-year-old Gülhan Börülce, who was found stabbed to death in her home in Siirt, was buried in Ankara. It is claimed that the woman resisted the person or persons who attacked her, leading to a struggle in the house for a while, and that the assailants entered the home with the intent to commit theft, using electrical devices to prevent any noise from escaping outside.
A horrifying incident occurred yesterday morning in the apartment located in the Barış neighborhood of Siirt. According to the information obtained, relatives of military personnel's wife Gülhan Börülce (39) reported her missing after they could not reach her.
FOUND DEAD IN HER HOME
Upon the notification, teams directed to the scene found Börülce's body, which had been stabbed, in the house they entered. The body of the woman, who was determined to have lost her life, was brought to Ankara for burial after an autopsy was performed.
FAREWELL TO HER LAST JOURNEY
Gülhan's remains were laid to rest amid tears after the funeral prayer held at Ahmet Efendi Mosque in Karşıyaka Cemetery.

Relatives of Gülhan, who spoke about the murder, claimed that in the house where the incident took place, Gülhan resisted the person or persons attacking her, leading to a struggle. Among the allegations was that the assailants entered the house for theft and operated electrical devices to prevent sound from escaping.
It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and it was reported that Gülhan's husband was out of town for duty.
