In a traffic accident that occurred in the Tirebolu district of Giresun, 3 people lost their lives and 1 person was injured as a result of a collision between a truck and a car. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
In the Tirebolu district of Giresun, a traffic accident occurred as a truck collided with a car, resulting in the death of 3 people and 1 injury.
According to the information received, the truck with license plate 55 SB 829, driven by Şerif K. (71), was traveling from Tirebolu towards Doğankent when it collided with the car with license plate 35 KOR 61, driven by Galip Demiral (35), coming from the opposite direction at the Kovancık Village location.
3 PEOPLE DIED AT THE SCENE
In the accident, the driver of the car, Galip Demiral, along with his sister Gülcan Demiral (52) and Dilara Elmas Yılmaz (29), who was a passenger in the vehicle, lost their lives at the scene. The truck driver, Şerif K., sustained minor injuries in the accident.
TRUCK DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
After the accident, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue after examinations were conducted. While the public prosecutor was informed about the incident, truck driver Şerif K. was taken into custody. It was reported that the gendarmerie teams are continuing the judicial investigation regarding the accident.
