Two people lost their lives in a truck accident on the Hatay-Adana highway. The angus cattle that spread onto the road after the accident caused various other accidents. Teams that arrived at the scene brought the fire under control.
Two people lost their lives in a truck that overturned and was engulfed in flames on the highway in Hatay. The Angus cattle being transported in the vehicle spread onto the road after the accident, causing further accidents. The incident occurred on the Hatay-Adana highway in the Hurmalık area of Dörtyol district. The truck with license plate 63 ADM 974 crashed into the median after the driver lost control and was consumed by flames. Upon notification, fire, medical, and police teams from Hatay Metropolitan Municipality were dispatched to the scene. While the fire crews brought the flames under control, it was determined that M.H. and A.H. in the truck had lost their lives. After an examination at the scene, the bodies of the individuals were taken to the morgue.
EFFORTS TO CATCH THE ESCAPED ANGUS CATTLE CONTINUE
Meanwhile, the Angus cattle that were being transported in the truck and escaped after the accident spread onto the highway. The Angus cattle on the highway caused various accidents, and it was learned that efforts to capture the animals were ongoing. Dörtyol Mayor Bahadır Amaç also visited the area to conduct inspections and expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
