CALL FOR 'UNITY' TO MUNICIPAL MAYORS In his speech after the election, Vahap Seçer thanked the union members who supported him with their votes. Stating that a historic process is taking place in the TBB, Seçer said they would carry the flag he received from Ekrem İmamoğlu and Zeydan Karalar together.
Seçer emphasized that it is unacceptable for mayors elected by the will of the people to be detained and removed from their duties, arguing that the judicial process should take place without detention. Expressing that he sees the TBB as a non-political institution, Seçer called on all mayors to unite, regardless of party differences.
