A citizen who brought his pregnant wife to the Emergency Department of Kırıkkale University Medical Faculty claimed that the staff acted indifferently and did not provide the necessary intervention, recording a video and reacting to the situation.
An incident allegedly occurring in the Emergency Department of Kırıkkale University Medical Faculty Hospital has sparked discussion on social media. A citizen who brought his pregnant wife to the hospital due to contractions expressed his reaction, claiming that insufficient attention was given in the emergency room.
"SMOKING STAFF..."
In the video he shared, the citizen stated that his wife was in "a miserable state" and claimed that the staff were smoking and behaving indifferently. The citizen, who said, "My wife came in with contractions. I approached the door, and the staff smoking said, 'What was it?'" alleged that they only wanted to give his wife an injection and send her away.
"IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT A PERSON?"
The citizen claimed that he requested a muscle relaxant but was told that it was not available in the hospital, and he reacted to the attitude of some staff, saying, "With a cigarette in hand, headphones in ears... Is this how you treat a person?"
"I BEG THE AUTHORITIES"
Calling on the authorities, the citizen said, "I beg the authorities, the state officials; please intervene with this situation," requesting action regarding what had happened. No official statement has yet been made by the hospital management regarding the incident.
