The Ministry of Family and Social Services made a statement regarding the news of a 14-year-old girl giving birth in Zonguldak. The ministry announced that necessary procedures have been initiated to place the girl and her baby under state protection following the incident being reported to the law enforcement agencies. The suspect who was taken into custody in connection with the incident has been arrested and sent to prison.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services made a statement through its social media account regarding the news in some press outlets and on social media that 'a 14-year-old girl gave birth in Zonguldak.'

"THE BABY HAS BEEN TAKEN UNDER STATE PROTECTION"

In the statement, it was said, "As soon as the incident was reported to the law enforcement agencies, our teams from the Zonguldak Provincial Directorate acted promptly. Necessary procedures have been initiated for the state to take the 14-year-old girl and her newborn baby into protection after their health checks at the hospital are completed."

"SHE HAS BEEN SENT TO PRISON"

The statement also included, "The suspect who was detained in connection with the incident has been arrested and sent to prison. As a ministry, we will be involved in the legal process and closely monitor that the perpetrator receives the heaviest punishment."
