I express my gratitude to all my citizens who stood up for their future and will on July 15th. Our friends and brothers supported our resistance with their prayers. That night, we once again realized the consciousness of being a nation.
"THE TRAP OF THE FETO LEADER HAS BEEN SHATTERED BY OUR NATION'S STANCE"
The light of this blessed land has illuminated different points of the earth. The lands watered with the blood of martyrs for centuries are the lands that shape history. This nation has been a source of hope for the oppressed and fear for the enemies for a thousand years. That nation has written a glorious epic that will be remembered with pride until the Day of Judgment on the night of July 15th, after Çanakkale. This epic is the last example that we are strong and invincible when we are one and together as a nation. The trap of the FETO leader, who took his last breath without a homeland and was thrown into a pit, has been shattered by our nation's brave stance.
The dirty swamp they wanted to drag our country into was eternally dried that night. Our nation also repelled an invasion attempt. The exam we passed with our heads held high on the night of July 15th was one of the most critical turning points in our history. There is no other equivalent to the exam we took that night in our history. That night served as a litmus test. Both the good and the bad were revealed in the passage. While our nation heroically resisted, some said it was too late. While our martyrs and veterans did not allow terrorists in military uniforms to pass, some called it a game. Others were sipping their leisure coffees in safe homes, adopting a wait-and-see strategy.

We saw those who rushed to the squares and those who rushed to the ATMs, those who resisted the coup and those who applauded them, and those who lay in ambush to see who would win. All of these have taken their place in the memory of our nation, never to be erased. Those who applauded the coup, those who slandered the July 15th epic, and those who took positions according to the course of events will be remembered with shame. That night, here, under this great roof, those who stood up for the national will have been inscribed in the hearts of the nation in golden letters. While the Turkish nation heroically defended its independence in the streets, you also stood by democracy and the will of the nation at the cost of your lives. Like in the days of the national struggle, you did not cast a shadow on the trust of the nation. I thank all our representatives, regardless of political party, on behalf of my nation and myself. I say may Allah be pleased with you. The sacrifices of our martyrs did not go in vain, nor did those of our veterans. The Terror-Free Turkey we are building step by step will hopefully be their legacy. Our country will rise in every field, and a brand new era will begin in every area. A Terror-Free Turkey will unlock the road to a terror-free region.
We trust in our eternal and everlasting brotherhood. We trust in the problem-solving capacity of our democracy. I wholeheartedly believe that, just like on July 15th, our nation will set aside all its differences and support the struggle to rid our country of terrorism."
