In an accident that occurred in Sarıyer, Istanbul, motorcycle rider Kadir Erçok was taken to the hospital after a head-on collision with a car, but unfortunately, he lost his life. The car sustained damage in the incident, and the authorities have launched an investigation regarding the event.
A car and a motorcycle collided head-on in Sarıyer, Istanbul. The motorcycle rider, who was reported to be working as a courier, died in the hospital after being taken there.
The accident occurred around 5:45 PM on Çeşminaz Street in the Poligon neighborhood of Sarıyer district. According to the information obtained, a Skoda car with license plate 34 MPT 110, driven by G.K., collided head-on with a Honda motorcycle with license plate 34 LU 8990, driven by Kadir Erçok, coming from the opposite direction. Upon citizens' notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The car was damaged in the accident, while the motorcycle rider, Kadir Erçok, who was reported to be working as a courier, was dragged several meters on the ground.

The motorcycle rider, who was seriously injured, received first aid from the teams at the scene. While the police took security measures on the street where the incident occurred, a tow truck was called to remove the vehicle and the motorcycle from the scene. It was learned that Kadir Erçok, who was seriously injured in the accident, could not be saved despite all interventions at the private hospital he was taken to and died. The car driver was taken to the Emirgan Police Station for questioning.
As the vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck, an investigation was initiated regarding the accident.
