The incident occurred in the morning in Balat Neighborhood of Nilüfer district. A single gunshot was heard from the home of Feyyaz Alptuğ Memişoğulları, who is a lawyer and a CHP council member of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Osmangazi Municipality, after his wife went to work in the morning. Upon the neighbors' report, the police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The teams found Memişoğulları shot in the head.

IT IS BELIEVED THAT HE COMMITTED SUICIDE

The body of Alptuğ Memişoğulları, who is believed to have ended his life, was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy after the prosecutor's examination. A gun and an empty cartridge were found at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
