A fire broke out after an explosion of undetermined cause occurred on the first floor of a five-story apartment building in Aydın's Efeler district. Arda Umut Balıkçı (28), who was disabled, lost his life, while his mother Zehra Puyan (70) was injured.
The incident took place around 1:00 PM on 2257 Street in the Efeler neighborhood of Efeler district. A fire broke out following an explosion of undetermined cause on the first floor of a five-story apartment building. Upon notification, a large number of police, fire brigade, AFAD, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished by the intervention of the fire brigade teams.
