A funeral ceremony was held for the singer Metin Arolat.

A singer Metin Arolat (52), who passed away from a heart attack while singing at a venue in Kadıköy, was honored with a funeral ceremony at Teşvikiye Mosque. The ceremony was attended by Arolat's artist friends Gülben Ergen, Gülşen, Ozan Orhon, Yeliz, Demet Sağıroğlu, family members, and citizens.

HIS SISTER ACCEPTED THE CONDOLENCES

Arolat's producer friend İzzet Öz also attended the ceremony. Family members and citizens did not leave Arolat alone on his final journey, while condolences were accepted by Arolat's sister Fatoş Alkan.

"HE WAS A GOOD PERSON, MY BROTHER"

Metin Arolat's sister Fatoş Alkan stated, "I took care of the funeral because I was the only first-degree relative left. Of course, he had many who loved him. He was a good person, my brother. He was someone who thought of goodness for everyone," she said.

"THERE IS SOMETHING THAT THEATRE ACTORS WISH THEY COULD DIE ON STAGE"

Actor Bekir Aksoy said, "There is really nothing to say. It was very sudden. If you ask a stage person where they would like to take their last breath, I think they would say 'on stage.' There is something that all theatre actors wish they could die on stage in their lives," he expressed.

ARTO: HE WAS MY FRIEND FOR 30 YEARS

Program host Arto said, "It was something we never expected. He was my friend for 30 years. He was someone who lived by himself. He was a person who never harmed anyone. Everything he said was positive. He was like an angel," he stated.

"TO SAY ARM IS TO SAY HEART; ONE DOES NOT GO BACK ON STAGE WITH SUCH A RISK"

Singer Sevda Demirel said, "Since my youth, he always said beautiful things to me. My dear Metin, may you rest in peace. We were supposed to have a coffee, but it didn't happen. Today I thought I would come with my coffee, but everything is misunderstood. That's why I came with water. We couldn't have our coffee, I am very sorry. His right arm was numb. This is something even a 5-year-old child would know. To say arm is to say heart. One does not go back on stage with such a risk. I am also following the diet he did. I feel weak; I don't know how I got here today. It's not a good thing, but unfortunately, dieting is a very serious habit," she said.
