A 23-year-old law student was found dead in an apricot orchard by his father in the Yeşilyurt district of Malatya. The incident occurred around 18:30 on Fatih Street in the Topsöğüt neighborhood of Yeşilyurt. Mahmut Hakan Uzan, a 23-year-old studying at Ankara University Faculty of Law, had not been heard from since the afternoon, prompting his father N.U. to search for him in the apricot orchard located about 200 meters from their home.

A PISTOL WAS FOUND AT THE SCENE

During this time, N.U. found his son Mahmut Hakan Uzan under a tree, shot in the head. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The teams determined that the young man had lost his life during their inspection. While examining the scene, the teams found a pistol, and Mahmut Hakan Uzan's body was taken to the forensic institution for autopsy. The investigation initiated regarding the incident is ongoing.
