A mother who confessed to killing her 4-year-old child and throwing the body in a dumpster has been arrested.

The mother who confessed to killing her 4-year-old child in the Boğazlıyan district of Yozgat and throwing the body into a dump has been arrested.

CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS ATTRACTED ATTENTION

M.S. (34), who lives in the district, reported to the police on January 11 that her 4-year-old son E.Ç, born from her ex-husband, was missing. In her statement at the police station, the mother, who gave contradictory statements, confessed during the interrogation that she strangled her son in July 2024 and threw him into the local dump.

SEARCH WAS CONDUCTED IN THE DUMP BUT NO BODY WAS FOUND

After being detained, M.S. was arrested by the judge to whom she was brought after her procedures at the police station. Police teams conducted a search in the dump with cadaver dogs. The search was called off when no body was found.
