A Painful Farewell from Hayriye of 'Yaprak Dökümü' to Her Co-Star

"Leaf Fall", "Broken Wings", "Once Upon a Time in the Ottoman Empire", "Island Tale" and "The Neighborhood's Mukhtar" are just a few of the significant projects that the master artist Bedia Ener Öztep, who met with television viewers for many years, passed away at the age of 70. Öztep's death was announced by her son through a note on her mother's social media account stating, "I have become an angel." The death of Öztep, who left a mark in the minds of the audience with her character "Neyyir" in the phenomenon series Leaf Fall, has plunged the art community into mourning.

Güven Hokna, who portrayed "Hayriye" in Leaf Fall, shared a post on her social media account following the artist's death. Hokna bid farewell to her co-star with the words, "I learned the sad news of the passing of my family friend, my dear friend Bedia Ener, with sorrow. May her place be paradise, may her soul rest in peace. I wish my condolences to her family and loved ones."

Hokna also shared a video in which Bedia Ener Öztep talked about her struggles with health issues during a television program she participated in. In the video, Öztep said, "The reason my hair is like this is my illness. I had cancer. My breast was removed, I underwent chemotherapy. It passed... It made me lose my hair! If I hadn't experienced this illness, I wouldn't have realized how well short hair suited me, or how beautifully my hair turned white, because I always dyed it. From this, I concluded that the most beautiful aspects of people are their natural sides. We should accept ourselves as we are."

Additionally, Güven Hokna shared a compiled video showing the friendship between the characters "Neyyir" and "Hayriye" in the series Leaf Fall in another story.
