An automobile in Istanbul's Avcılar district lost control and first hit a pedestrian walking on the side of the road, then collided with an electrical pole. The electrical pole fell on top of the pedestrians. In the incident, 5 people, including 1 child, were injured. FIRST HIT THE PEDESTRIAN, THEN THE ELECTRICAL POLEAt around 14:00, the car driven by Fetih İsmet Göktaş on Avcılar Şükrübey E-5 highway in the direction of Ankara, first hit a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk, and then collided with an electrical pole on the side of the road. 3 OF THE INJURED ARE IN SERIOUS CONDITIONAs a result of the accident, 5 people, including 1 child, were injured, while the car driver escaped the accident unharmed. Upon the notification of the surrounding citizens, the police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention by the medical teams at the scene, the injured were transported to nearby hospitals by ambulances. It was learned that the condition of 3 of the injured, who were taken to the hospital, is serious. While the traffic was closed for a while by the police teams due to the accident, it returned to normal after the removal of the vehicle involved in the accident from the scene. The police have initiated an investigation into the accident.
