A woman living alone in the Alaca district of Çorum was found dead in her home. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.

Relatives of 53-year-old Meral Çalar, who lived alone in Atalay Street, Günhan Neighborhood, Alaca district of Çorum, reported her missing to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams that entered the house encountered the lifeless body of Meral Çalar.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

After the examinations conducted by the police teams, Meral Çalar's body was taken to the Alaca State Hospital morgue. The cause of Çalar's death will be clarified after the autopsy examination. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
