The death of the master of Arabesque, Güllü, has plunged the art community into mourning, while Yeşim Salkım expressed her outrage, stating that Güllü's value was not recognized. Salkım said, "We should appreciate Güllü while she is alive, right? You don't recognize anyone's worth, and then you lament when they die! Will you only realize their value after they pass away?"
One of the powerful names of Arabesque music, Güllü, tragically lost her life last night after falling from the balcony while having fun with her daughter and her daughter's friend at her home in the Çınarcık district of Yalova. The death of the 51-year-old artist caused great sorrow in the art community.
"SHE HAD A PURE HEART, SHE WAS THE QUEEN OF ARABESQUE"
Famous singer Yeşim Salkım made an emotional post on her social media account after the death of her close friend Güllü. Salkım, who stated that she had known Güllü since childhood, expressed that the artist was a kind-hearted and pure person, and she protested against the situation.
Yeşim Salkım used the following expressions: "When I met her, her mother was with her; they had come to listen to my father. We were both little girls, I was 3 years older than her. Years later, she also started singing, and we met again; we even featured her life in my television program. She had a pure heart; she was the queen of Arabesque. She said my new song was out just last Saturday, and she asked me to share it immediately. Oh my dear, I can't make any sense of this. I am so sad, my beautiful-eyed one, rest in peace, my angelic heart. We need to appreciate people while they are alive, right? You don't appreciate anyone, and then you mourn when they die!"
"YOU DON'T APPRECIATE WHAT IS VALUABLE"
In her next post, Salkım stated, "You don't appreciate what is valuable. Will you only realize it when they pass away? Those who are still insatiable will forget by tomorrow anyway."
