The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin was found 19 days later, and AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Galip Ensarioğlu made interesting remarks during a live broadcast. Ensarioğlu said, "There are things that we sometimes don't know and sometimes we shouldn't say even if we know. Because the family is also our friends. We don't want to say something that will upset them too much because the subject is very sensitive."

NARIN'S LIFELESS BODY FOUND

The search for Narin Güran, who disappeared on August 21 in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, ended on the 19th day. The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin was found by gendarmerie teams in Eğertutmaz Stream near the village.

21 people, including family members who were suspected in Narin's death, were detained. AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Galip Ensarioğlu made interesting statements about the family during a live broadcast on Sözcü TV. Ensarioğlu, stating that they do not want to say things that will upset the family, said, "There is confidentiality in the investigation. We have reached the final stage. There are things that we sometimes don't know and sometimes we shouldn't say even if we know. Because the family is also our friends. Because the subject is very sensitive, we don't want to say something that will upset them too much."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Narin Güran, who went to the Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district on August 21, did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her on their own. When no results were obtained from the search, Narin's father Arif Güran reported that his daughter was missing on the same day around 20:00. As a result, many search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village.

While the search was ongoing, E.G. (18), Narin Güran's brother, was detained due to bite marks on his arm. When it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin in the examination at Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, E.G. was released.

Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was detained. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples from Narin's clothes, was arrested for "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty."

The teams, who focused on the previously searched areas again, conducted a search in Eğertutmaz Stream, 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was thrown into the stream with a sack after being killed and covered with stones.
