In the Sahara Pass area of the Ardahan-Şavşat highway, an avalanche fell on the teams working to combat the snow. Since the night hours, snow and heavy blizzards have been affecting the city. Due to adverse weather conditions, teams worked in the Sahara Pass area of the Ardahan-Şavşat highway, which was closed to traffic.
DRIVERS' CONDITION IS GOOD
While the teams were working, an avalanche fell on the excavator and truck. As the drivers were being rescued from the vehicles, efforts were initiated to save the construction machinery that was largely buried in the snow. Meanwhile, it was learned that the drivers' conditions are good.
