An elderly couple, whose relatives had not heard from them, was found dead in their home in Niğde. A large-scale investigation has been launched by the police regarding the incident, which was initially assessed as a case of carbon monoxide poisoning.

TEAMS ENTERING THE HOUSE ENCOUNTERED A HORRIFIC SCENE
The incident occurred in the Naime Kılınç Apartment located on Kilise Street in Kale Neighborhood. After not hearing from 64-year-old Emine Şahiner and her 75-year-old husband Necati Şahiner for a while, their relatives reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the address. The teams that entered the house determined that Emine Şahiner and Necati Şahiner had passed away.
SUSPECT OF NATURAL GAS POISONING
