The lifeless body of 80-year-old İsmail Özcan, who had not been heard from for about a week, was found in his apartment by teams who entered upon receiving a tip-off in Eğirdir district of Isparta.
80-year-old İsmail Özcan, who lived alone in Eğirdir district of Isparta, was found dead in his home.
NO NEWS FOR A WEEK
The incident occurred around 12:00 at the ground floor of Begüm Apartment on Altın Street in İstasyon Neighborhood. The landlord, Murat Soylu, who stated that he had not seen Özcan for about a week, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center after not receiving any response to his calls.
DOOR OPENED BY FIRE BRIGADE
Upon the notification, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the address. The door was opened by the fire brigade teams upon the prosecutor's instructions.
Upon entering the house, the teams encountered İsmail Özcan's lifeless body. Health teams determined that Özcan had passed away during their examination.
After the examination of the public prosecutor at the scene, Özcan's body was taken to the morgue of Eğirdir State Hospital. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
