Bahçeli's striking statement about İmralı: It would be a good start.

On the last day of the ongoing budget discussions in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, answered questions from the press.

"THERE IS BENEFIT IN ENSURING THE MEETING"

In response to a journalist's question regarding the DEM Party's request for a visit to İmralı, Bahçeli stated, "There is no change in our views. There is benefit in ensuring this meeting."

"IT WOULD BE A GOOD START"

Expressing that we will enter the year 2025 and showing the inscription "New Century, New Turkey" on his ring, Bahçeli said, "It would be a good start. The discussions would please us. I believe the decisions will also be beneficial for every person living in Turkey."
