It has been announced that visa exemption will be applied for citizens of the People's Republic of China holding public passports in Turkey. In this context, Chinese citizens will be able to travel for tourism and transit in Turkey for a maximum of 90 days within every 180 days. It was stated that this decision will further strengthen the tourism relations between the two countries.
With the decision published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, it has been decided to grant visa exemption for citizens of the People's Republic of China holding public passports for their tourist travels and transit passages to Turkey, with a maximum stay of 90 days within every 180 days, starting from 2/1/2026, in accordance with Article 18 of Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection.
