Has the data of 85 million people been stolen? Statement from the Presidency of Communications

DID THEY REQUEST ASSISTANCE FROM GOOGLE?

The statement continues as follows: "There is currently no leaked data, and there is no request for assistance from Google. The response given by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, to a question on the subject has been taken out of context and presented as 'the data of 85 million people has been stolen.' Following the findings that some citizens' passwords were stolen and the address information based on declarations registered in the system was obtained, necessary legal procedures have been initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Do not believe in baseless allegations."
