The Disinformation Combat Center of the Presidency of Communications (DCC) has made a statement regarding the news claiming that "the data of 85 million citizens has been stolen and the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) has requested assistance from Google" without distorting the current HTML. "THE ALLEGATIONS ARE COMPLETELY UNTRUE"The statement, which uses the expressions "it has been determined that a dialogue between the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, and the press members has been deliberately manipulated," states that the allegations mentioned in the news, "that the data of 85 million citizens has been stolen and the BTK has requested assistance from Google," are completely untrue. DID THEY REQUEST ASSISTANCE FROM GOOGLE?The statement continues as follows: "There is currently no leaked data, and there is no request for assistance from Google. The response given by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, to a question on the subject has been taken out of context and presented as 'the data of 85 million people has been stolen.' Following the findings that some citizens' passwords were stolen and the address information based on declarations registered in the system was obtained, necessary legal procedures have been initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Do not believe in baseless allegations."
