Trabzonspor's successful goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır made a post on his social media account following the statement from club president Ertuğrul Doğan, who said, "There is no offer from Istanbul; even if he wants to go to Fenerbahçe, I won't sell him." Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan made a statement regarding the recent transfer rumors about team captain Uğurcan Çakır that have been circulating in the media.
"IF HE WANTS TO LEAVE, I WON'T LET HIM GO"
President Doğan stated, "There is no offer for Uğurcan Çakır from Istanbul. If there is, Uğurcan won't leave, and even if he wants to, I won't let him go. Uğurcan mentioned that he has a dream of playing in Europe at the end of the season. He indicated that he has been in talks with some teams abroad. I also promised him that if there is an offer that makes Trabzonspor and himself happy, we will assist him. It would be unfair to other teams. No team from Turkey has made an offer regarding Uğurcan."
