Former National Football League (NFL) player Darron Lee was arrested on suspicion of "killing his girlfriend." Lee is set to appear in court on February 11 as part of the investigation into the murder suspicion.

Lee, 31, who was taken into custody as a suspect following the death of a woman in Tennessee, USA, is expected to appear in court on February 11.

HE HAD BEEN ARRESTED BEFORE

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office stated, "Preliminary findings indicate that the victim's death is the result of a homicide."

Lee, who was selected in the first round by the New York Jets in 2016, played his last game in the NFL in 2020 wearing a Buffalo Bills jersey. Lee's four-year contract with the Jets was terminated in 2019 due to misconduct and poor performance.

Although he was part of the Kansas City Chiefs team that won the Super Bowl in 2020, Lee did not play in the game and was arrested in 2023 on charges of assault and domestic violence.
