Former referee and president of the Georgian Referee Committee, Cüneyt Çakır, got stranded in Dubai while attending a FIFA seminar. Cüneyt Çakır, who stated that he currently cannot leave the country, said, "These events happened on the first day we arrived. Thank God I am fine."

Many Turkish citizens in Dubai were stranded in the country as their flights were canceled due to the increased activity in the airspace following Iran's retaliations against the USA. One of these individuals was former referee and Chairman of the Georgian Referee Committee, Cüneyt Çakır.

Former FIFA referee and Chairman of the Central Referee Committee of the Georgian Football Federation, Cüneyt Çakır, was stranded in Dubai, the most populous city of the United Arab Emirates, after flights were halted due to the intense clashes in the region.

Cüneyt Çakır, who stated that he went to Dubai for a FIFA seminar, mentioned in a statement to HT Sports that his situation is good, but there is currently no way out of the country, saying, "These events happened on the first day we arrived.
