With this price drop reflected at the pump, gasoline is being sold for 51 lira and 78 kuruş in Istanbul, 52 lira and 63 kuruş in Ankara, and 52 lira and 99 kuruş in Izmir.

HOW MUCH ARE FUEL PRICES?
In Istanbul, gasoline is sold for 51.78 lira, diesel for 53.18 lira; in Ankara, gasoline is 52.63 lira, diesel is 54.19 lira; in Izmir, gasoline is 52.99 lira, diesel is 54.56 lira; in Adana, gasoline is 53.53 lira, diesel is 55.11 lira.
HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations due to competition and freedom among companies and cities.
EPGIS HAD DECIDED NOT TO ANNOUNCE PRICE CHANGES
After the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) filed a complaint against EPGIS, the only union that announces changes in prices, the union stated that it would not share fuel price changes with the public until the legal process is concluded.
