A village headman, who is alleged to have sold drugs in Ankara, was caught with drugs ready for sale in his vehicle as a result of surveillance by narcotics teams and was taken into custody.
Ankara's allegations against a muhtar regarding drug-related activities prompted the police to take action. Teams from the Ankara Narcotics Branch evaluated the tip-off about a muhtar selling drugs and initiated technical and physical surveillance.
After the investigations, the suspect muhtar was stopped, and a search was conducted in his vehicle. During the search, drugs ready for sale were seized. The muhtar was taken into custody in connection with the incident, and it was learned that the investigation is being carried out in a comprehensive manner. Police sources reported that efforts are ongoing to clarify all connections related to the incident.
