Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the issues of ensuring stability in Syria and the orderly completion of the transition period during his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Fidan stated that the PKK/YPG terrorist organization cannot be allowed to take refuge in Syria.

In a statement from sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Fidan emphasized the importance of acting in cooperation with the new administration of Syria to ensure stability in the country and to complete the transition period in an orderly manner.
"WE WILL NOT ALLOW PKK/YPG TO SHELTER IN SYRIA"
During the meeting, Minister Fidan stated that the PKK/YPG terrorist organization would not be allowed to take shelter in Syria, expressing support for the new administration's efforts to ensure the country's territorial integrity and security.

Minister Fidan also noted that more efforts are needed to achieve a lasting ceasefire in Gaza.
