The announcer Hande Sarıoğlu protested against her name being mentioned in drug operations. In strong statements made through her social media account, Sarıoğlu addressed Fatih Altaylı and Mehmet Akif Ersoy. Sarıoğlu said, "In both worlds, my hand will be upon you, you will write, Akif, what kind of person I am, and you will write a letter on my behalf to the public and all journalists explaining it."
Famous broadcaster Hande Sarıoğlu rebelled against the mention of her name in drug operations through her social media posts. Claiming that she has been slandered, Sarıoğlu called out to Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the General Director of Habertürk TV who was arrested in the drug investigation and dismissed, as well as journalist Fatih Altaylı, who was arrested in another investigation, asking them to explain everything one by one.
"YOU NEED ME WHILE I'M ALIVE, NOT AFTER I'M DEAD"
In strong statements, Sarıoğlu said, "Since 2010, in this field where I have worked as a presenter and broadcaster, neither a channel manager, nor a pop star, nor a football player, nor an actor, as someone who has met dozens of them, those who know and those who have met me know very well that not a single soul has been able to reach me. No one has been able to find me. I have neither coveted their lifestyles nor their environments. Not just God, but everyone who knows me personally will testify, you will tell me about myself. Not after I die, but now while I am alive. How did you know me? I want to hear from everyone without exception, including my friends, what you know about me, what kind of person I am, you will write it down. You need me while I'm alive, not after I'm dead. You will show how much of an army I am against a slanderous scoundrel. It will be you who tells my story, not the treacherous slanderers," she expressed.
"EVEN THOUGH I LEFT IN 2020, THE CURSE IS STILL ON MY TRAIL"
Addressing journalist Fatih Altaylı, Sarıoğlu said, "As for Fatih Altaylı's transfer to Habertürk, during my time as a sports broadcaster starting with the Sports Hour program, anyone who knows me, it's time to speak about me," and continued:
"It is your duty to write about all the days when you worked with me, when you transferred me, then got up and left the table because of my comments on the Sports Hour program, and then removed the program from the broadcast. Think of your daughter at home... It is time to say something on my behalf for everything you have taken from me, Altaylı. How did you know me, what kind of person am I, you will write. You transferred me to this channel, then you took my sports program away from me, and then, by your order, my paths with the channel were separated. Thank God I did oriental dance that day, otherwise that channel would have turned into a sewer pit in someone else's hands before I could leave. Even though I left in 2020, the curse is still on my trail. Fatih Altaylı, you will write about me, I have a right that needs to be paid, and I won't let go of you until this debt is settled. I will not forgive you. You will write for me."
"YOU WILL REMOVE THE DIRTY SLANDERS ON ME"
In her next post, Sarıoğlu addressed Mehmet Akif Ersoy with the following statements:

If someone asked me whether my mother or Akif is more faithful, whether I pray five times a day, I would say you, damn it. You betrayed yourself, your life. You cannot betray a decent person like me.
