In a horrific incident in Pakistan, a mother-in-law killed her seven-month pregnant daughter-in-law, accusing her of "practicing witchcraft and seducing her son." The dismembered body of 30-year-old Zara Bibi was found in three separate bags scattered across different areas of the city of Daska. The fate of the young woman, who had gone missing last week, was revealed by the police's horrifying discovery. Mother-in-law Sughran Bibi confessed to her crime and explained the reason for the murder. According to senior police officer Omar Farooq, Sughran suspected that her daughter-in-law was practicing witchcraft. Additionally, the fact that her son Qadir was sending money directly to Zara's bank account instead of to his mother had also caused tension. According to the police report, four suspects smothered Zara with a pillow while she was asleep, burned her face, and dismembered her body, throwing it into canals at different points in the city in three sacks. Zara, who had been married for four years and had a three-year-old son, was living in Saudi Arabia and had returned to Pakistan two weeks ago. Her father, Shabbir Ahmed, claimed that his son-in-law's family was jealous of his daughter because she lived abroad. The retired police officer stated that he last spoke to his daughter on November 10, and after that, her phone was turned off. Two days later, when he visited his mother-in-law, he was confronted with the lie that Zara had "left home with jewelry and valuables." The police arrested mother-in-law Sughran, as well as her daughter Yasmin, grandson Hamza, and relative Navid in connection with the murder. The fourth suspect, Abdullah, was also apprehended. The police announced that all suspects confessed to the murder. A murder case has been filed against the suspects.
