A man who claimed to have been cheated on in Esenyurt, Istanbul, strangled his wife to death during an argument. Afterward, the suspect called the police and reported, "I killed my wife, come and get me."
A woman was murdered in Istanbul again. In the Süleymaniye neighborhood of Esenyurt, Sadık Aras, who had a dispute with his 32-year-old wife Filiz Aras in the early hours of the morning, strangled her to death.
HE KILLED HER AND TURNED HIMSELF IN
Sadık Aras, who reported to the police, confessed that he had killed his wife. After the report, Sadık Aras, 27, was taken into custody by the police teams who arrived at the scene and was taken to the Esenyurt Public Order Bureau.
HIS STATEMENT EMERGED
In his first statement at the police station, Aras reportedly said, "I learned that I was being cheated on. I asked my wife about it. A dispute broke out between us. She wanted to leave the house. I lost control. During the fight, I strangled her to death."
