Halis Turan, who came to the courthouse in Yalova as a witness to a murder, was shot and killed by his rival Ömer A. when he went outside to get something. It was stated that the murder, which is the subject of the case, occurred due to a land dispute.

The incident occurred in the morning in front of the Yalova Courthouse. Halis Turan went to the courthouse to testify as a witness in a murder case that took place in Bursa. While E.K. was taken to the hospital by the ambulance called, the lifeless body of Halis Turan was sent to the morgue of Yalova State Hospital for an autopsy.

It was stated that the murder was committed due to a fight that broke out between the Turan family living in Bursa and the relatives of Ömer A. over a land dispute, in which a relative of the suspect, Abdurrahman A., was killed.
TRIALS POSTPONED
Meanwhile, after the murder, Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor Duygu Bayar Öksüz, who was present at the courthouse, came to the scene to gather information. Following the incident, all trials scheduled to take place at the courthouse today were postponed.
