The fugitive former Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor of Ankara, Şadan Sakınan, who is accused of attempting to close the investigation into the leak of 2010 KPSS questions by FETÖ members, has been detained. It has been learned that Sakınan was caught in a hidden compartment in a safe house.
A hot development has occurred regarding Şadan Sakınan, the former Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor of Ankara sought in the gray category and a fugitive of FETÖ.
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues its efforts to identify and capture individuals who are members of FETÖ and are fugitives.
CAPTURED IN A HIDEOUT
In this context, the hideout of Şadan Sakınan, who has an arrest warrant issued by Ankara Heavy Penal Courts for "being a member of the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization" and two separate charges of "abuse of office," and who is listed in the Ministry of Interior's "gray list of wanted persons," was identified.
In an operation carried out by the Ankara Police Department teams at the organization's hideout in the Aşağı Öveçler neighborhood of Çankaya, Sakınan was detained in the compartment behind the wardrobe where he was hiding.
Sakınan was listed in the gray category of the Ministry of Interior's wanted persons list.
ACCUSED OF CLOSING THE KPSS INVESTIGATION
Sakınan was accused of attempting to close the investigation into the leak of the 2010 KPSS questions by members of "FETÖ."
