A dispute allegedly arose between Serhan M., a third-year student studying at a private university in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, and Ferhat D., a fellow student in the same faculty, over a term project. Ferhat D. stabbed Serhan M. three times in the chest after calling him to the fire escape. Serhan M., who was severely injured, was taken to the hospital for treatment. The suspect, Ferhat D., who was caught with the knife he used in the incident, was arrested.

Blood was shed in the dispute over the term project between two university students. During the argument, Serhan M., a student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, was injured in the chest, while his friend Ferhat D. was arrested.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 24, around 5:20 PM at a private university located in the Örnektepe neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a disagreement arose between Serhan M., a third-year student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Ferhat D., who is also a student at the same faculty, allegedly due to the term project. After the argument that started between the two students, Ferhat D. called Serhan M. to the fire escape. In the fight that broke out there, Ferhat D. stabbed Serhan M. three times in the chest.

STABBED IN THE FIRE ESCAPE

After the incident, Serhan M. was seriously injured, while Ferhat D. fled the university. Following the students' report, health and police teams were dispatched to the university. The health teams provided first aid to Serhan M. at the scene and transported him by ambulance to Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital. It was learned that the condition of the student under treatment remained serious.

BEYOĞLU PUBLIC ORDER POLICE CAPTURED

On the other hand, the Beyoğlu Public Order Bureau teams, which initiated an investigation into the incident, began examining the security camera footage at the university and consulted the statements of eyewitnesses. In the investigations, Ferhat D. was caught in Hasköy Piripaşa neighborhood with the knife he used in the incident.

ARRESTED

Ferhat D., who was taken into custody, was brought to the police station. Here, after his statement was taken and legal proceedings were initiated against him, Ferhat D. was referred to the courthouse. Ferhat D., who was brought before the court, was arrested and sent to prison for the crime of 'intentional injury'. It was also learned that Ferhat D. had a previous criminal record with the police.
