In an interesting accident that occurred in the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul, a car parked without the handbrake engaged lost control on a sloped road and crashed into a barber shop. The barber and a customer who was getting a haircut inside were slightly injured, and the business suffered significant damage.
STARTED TO SLIDE WHEN THE HAND BRAKE WAS NOT ENGAGED
The incident took place in the afternoon in the Merkez neighborhood of Arnavutköy. After being parked and left in neutral, the car slid for about 50 meters because the handbrake was not engaged, crashing through the window of the barber shop on the street.
GLASS SHATTERED, INSIDE TURNED INTO A WAR ZONE
As the out-of-control vehicle crashed into the shop, the glass shattered into pieces, causing serious damage to the window and the interior. The barber and the customer inside were injured due to the impact. It was reported that the health conditions of the injured were good.

Barber Hasan Sancaktaroğlu, who described the accident, stated that the vehicle suddenly entered the shop while he was cutting hair and said he was slightly injured on his foot.
Abdil Çelik, who was caught in the accident while getting a haircut, expressed that they experienced great shock, noting that the car entered without a driver.
SHOP BECAME UNUSABLE
The barber shop, which suffered significant damage after the accident, was temporarily closed. While it was a relief that there were no fatalities, it was noted that the material damage was high.
