In Bayburt, the Sırakayalar Waterfall, which offers unique beauty to its visitors in every season, has frozen due to the cold. Located within the borders of Sırakayalar village, 16 kilometers away from the city center, the waterfall, which takes its name from this village, is one of the important centers of nature tourism in the region. In the area where the air temperature has dropped to as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius at night, the icicles formed at the frozen Sırakayalar Waterfall, exceeding 10 meters in length, present an unforgettable sight. THE FROZEN WATERFALL BECAME A FOCUS OF ATTENTION FOR PHOTOGRAPHERSSome nature enthusiasts also photographed the waterfall covered in ice. Nature photographer Mustafa Faruk told AA correspondent that the waterfall, which started to freeze with the snow and cold weather, created beautiful images. Faruk noted that some parts of the waterfall were completely covered in ice due to the cold weather, and the massive ice blocks were visually stunning.
