Invitation to a competition from social media! 17-year-old driver kills father and 4-year-old son.

In Altinova district of Yalova, a father and his son were killed when they were hit by an unlicensed driver while trying to cross the road. The 17-year-old driver was arrested and sent to prison.

FATHER AND 4-YEAR-OLD SON DIED AT THE SCENE

A car driven by 17-year-old M.C.K. hit 36-year-old Ahmet and his son Vahit Yildiz while they were trying to cross the road in Cavusciftligi area. Upon the notification, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

After the examination by the health teams, it was determined that the father and son died at the scene. The driver M.C.K. and 3 other people in the car were slightly injured.

The lifeless bodies of Ahmet and Vahit Yildiz were sent to Yalova Education and Research Hospital morgue after the examination at the scene. After the autopsy process, the bodies were taken to their hometown Sanliurfa by plane for burial. M.C.K., who was taken to the gendarmerie for procedures, was arrested.

DAUGHTER ESCAPED WITHOUT INJURY

It was stated that Ahmet Yildiz went to visit a relative's house with his 11-year-old daughter Ayse and his son Vahit, and when his daughter fell ill, they went to Altinova District State Hospital, and after the examination, they came to Cavusciftligi area where their house is located by getting on a passenger minibus.

It is alleged that M.C.K., who was claimed to be driving at high speed while they were walking across the road, hit them with his car, and Ayse Yildiz, who survived the accident without injury, said to the teams at the scene, "What am I going to tell my mother now." It was learned that Vahit Yildiz had been treated at the hospital last month after being hit by a motorcycle.

M.C.K., who made a post on his social media account saying "We are waiting for those who trust their cars" drew attention. The truck driver who witnessed the accident claimed that the car driver was driving very fast.

The moment of the accident was captured by the security camera of a minibus cooperative in the region. In the footage, father Yildiz, who got off the minibus with his son in his arms, started walking after his daughter Ayse, who was running fast towards the opposite side for a while. It can be seen that father Yildiz and his son, who reached the middle of the road as his daughter reached the concrete barriers in the middle of the highway, were hit by the car driven by M.C.K., who was seen coming fast at that moment.

In the footage, it can be seen that after his father and brother were hit by the car, Ayse Yildiz, who ran back to the roadside, was joined by a citizen who got off the minibus together with them.
