The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization announced that a missile hit the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant site during attacks by the US and Israel, and there were no casualties or damage in the incident.
In the attacks by the USA and Israel against Iran, the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant located on the shores of the Persian Gulf was targeted. In a statement made by the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, it was reported that a missile hit the plant site today at 21:08 local time.
THE PLANT ATTACK WAS AVOIDED WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE
The statement indicated that, according to initial examinations, there were no material, technical, or human losses in the incident, and no damage occurred in any part of the plant.
IT HAD BEEN TARGETED BEFORE
A similar attack on the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant site had also occurred on March 17, following the attacks that began on February 28. In that incident, it was reported that the missile did not hit the plant building directly but struck the campus area, and there were no casualties or material damage, and no damage occurred in any part of the plant.
