Denizlispor has come to the point of suspending its first team activities after a debt burden of 700 million TL and a 6-point deduction penalty imposed by FIFA.

Denizlispor, one of the rooted clubs of Turkish football, has been given a -6 point deduction penalty by FIFA ahead of the new season in which it will compete in the Super Amateur League.

The club has come to the point of suspending its first team activities. Denizlispor, which once represented our country in European cups, was given a -6 point deduction penalty due to its debt to its former foreign player Tiago Lopes.

In the statement made by the club, "Due to the debt burden of approximately 700 million TL, there is an ongoing permanent transfer ban on our club. Denizlispor continues its football activities largely with 17 footballers raised from its own infrastructure. 7-8 of our footballers have clearly stated that they do not consider being part of Denizlispor.
