Libyan Interior Minister Meets Turkish Ambassador

Both sides discuss possibility of enhancing bilateral cooperation in internal security.

Libyan Interior Minister Khaled Mazen received Turkish Ambassador to Tripoli Kenan Yilmaz on Wednesday.

In a meeting in Tripoli, the two sides discussed issues that were raised by a Turkish delegation that visited Libya on June 12, headed by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, according to a statement by the Turkish Embassy.

Yilmaz and Mazen also talked about the possibility of enhancing internal security bilateral cooperation.

The Turkish delegation headed by Cavusoglu, included National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, Chief of General Staff Gen. Yasar Guler, Intelligence Chief Hakan Fidan, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin. -
