Zulkifli Bin Yusof, 36, died on May 29 in 5,974 meter elevation cave in Denali National Park.

Malaysia on Saturday confirmed the death of its climber in the US and said the body of the climber has been repatriated to the country while two others injured were discharged from hospital.

In a statement, Malaysia Foreign Ministry confirmed the development and said the remains of the Malaysian climber who passed away at Mount Denali, Alaska, US, have been repatriated to Malaysia.

The ministry also confirms that the "two other Malaysian climbers have been discharged from hospitals and returned to Malaysia safely.

"Zulkifli Bin Yusof, 36, likely died (May 29) in a 5,974-meter elevation cave in Denali National Park and Preserve," the US media "ed park spokesperson Paul Ollig as saying.
