The promotional campaign for the series "Gassal," which will be broadcast on TRT, has ignited a significant debate in the public with its posters asking, "Who will wash me when I die?" Pervin Ersoy, the wife of the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ersoy, questioned, "Is the reason for placing this poster in Marmaray and the subways in Istanbul, where a person commits suicide every day, to create a call-to-action for suicide?"
Billboards that have started to be displayed in many places in Turkey with the slogan "Who will wash me when I die?" have ignited a new debate.
MINISTER ERSOY'S WIFE ALSO REACTED
A reaction to the billboard that has drawn great public backlash also came from Pervin Ersoy, the wife of the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
"YOU DIDN'T THINK OF THOSE WHO LOST LOVED ONES, THOSE WHO ARE ALONE"
Pervin Ersoy expressed her reaction to the billboard in a message she shared, stating, "You didn't think of those who lost loved ones, those who are alone in life, those who care for sick parents; you wrote such a thing and put it everywhere. It's already bad enough.
As if that wasn't enough, is the reason for putting this billboard in Marmaray and the subways in Istanbul, where perhaps one person commits suicide every day, to make a call-to-action for suicide?"
