The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that a 40% discount opportunity has been provided for young couples planning to get married through agreements made with 43 national companies. Minister Göktaş also announced that marriage loans have been increased.
The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced new steps taken to support young people who will get married during her visit to Bursa.
GOOD NEWS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE GETTING MARRIED
Göktaş stated that agreements have been made with 43 national companies to provide a 40% discount for young people getting married. She also mentioned that the loans provided to young people have been increased, saying, "As of January, we have updated the amount. In this context, we have raised the amount to 250,000 lira for couples aged 18-25. We are providing opportunities of up to 200,000 lira for young people aged 26-29. Moreover, we have made agreements with 43 national companies to enable them to benefit from discounts of up to 40%," she said.
After completing her visit to the AK Party provincial building, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş inaugurated the Hacı Seyfettin Art and Craft Center, which was completed by the Yıldırım Municipality.
WITNESS TO A COUPLE BENEFITING FROM MARRIAGE LOAN
After the opening, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş attended the wedding ceremony of the couple Çiçek Derviş and Furkan Maraş, who benefited from the marriage loan, at the Barış Manço Cultural Center in Yıldırım, and served as a witness.
Presenting the marriage certificate to the couple, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said, "First of all, I congratulate the couple. We have witnessed their proud day today. May God grant them happiness in both worlds. You are progressing on the path of family. You have also applied to us, especially under the family and youth fund. We are proud to have married nearly 50,000 young couples like you in Turkey," she said.
