A blast occurred in an apartment on the third floor of a four-story building in the Mamak District of Ankara, injuring L.Ü. (50).
The explosion took place around 03:00 in the apartment on the third floor of the four-story building located on Mutlu Street. A fire broke out in the apartment, which was allegedly caused by natural gas. L.Ü., who was living alone at the time, was injured during the fire.
FIRE EXTINGUISHED QUICKLY
Upon receiving reports from startled neighbors, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. While the police took security measures on the street, the fire department intervened and extinguished the fire in a short time. L.Ü., who was injured in the incident, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention by health teams.
BUILDING EVACUATED
For safety reasons, the building was evacuated, and natural gas teams conducted an inspection in the damaged apartment. It was learned that the exact cause of the explosion would be determined after further investigations.
