The leader of the MHP, Devlet Bahçeli, published a New Year message. Bahçeli stated, "Instead of being the puppet of Israel's trigger, controlled from afar, fed, and pushed into impossible dreams, it is in everyone's common interest for the SDG/YPG to be a supportive part of the March 10 Agreement in Syria. Otherwise, every hypocritical consideration and chronic preparation that will devastate the security vein of Turkey and the regional countries will have dire consequences for the perpetrators and actors."
The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, issued a message for the new year. In his message, Bahçeli emphasized the process, stating, "'As we approach the goal of a 'Terror-free Turkey', it should be expected that provocations and attempts at destruction will also increase." He mentioned that it is in everyone's common interest for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to be a supportive part of the March 10 Agreement, rather than being a puppet of Israel, controlled from afar, and fed with impossible dreams. Otherwise, every hypocritical consideration and chronic preparation that will devastate the security vein of Turkey and the regional countries will have dire consequences for the perpetrators and actors."
The full statement of MHP leader Bahçeli is as follows;
We are leaving behind a turbulent year in which numerous difficulties and heavy trials were experienced, alongside a systematically established atmosphere of peace and hope that is being fortified day by day, where dark calculations and desires are mutually positioned.
We are witnessing with regret and sorrow that humanity's common values and heritage are increasingly being lost in the swirling and intensifying vortex of regional and global crises.
We clearly see and evaluate that the world is caught in the gravitational pull of a nascent and neurotic medieval mentality.
While we maintain our optimism, we accept it as a significant and vigilant priority of will to ensure that caution and precaution are not neglected from any appearance or angle.
The year 2025 is the logbook of a 365-day adventure that serves as a stage for both the manifestation of firsts and the emergence of primitivism. Humanity's ship, which is driven to the depths of unrest due to generalized conflicts and confrontations, is in the merciless grip of a comprehensive and chaotic uncertainty, sometimes losing sight of the horizon.
As Neoliberalism dissolves, Capitalism, which has branched out and distorted, subsequently entering a phase of decay and stench, is continuously delaying the birth of a new international order and architecture, even preventing it.

Regardless of the name, source, purpose, or the swamp in which they were born or produced, terrorist organizations will not be granted the right to life and existence.

"AS WE APPROACH A 'TERROR-FREE TURKEY', AN INCREASE IN PROVOCATIONS AND DESTRUCTION SEEKING IS TO BE EXPECTED"
The downing of unmanned aerial vehicles in Balıkesir, Çankırı, and Kocaali, as well as the crash of the private jet carrying the Chief of General Staff of Libya and the Libyan delegation, raises many questions. As we approach the 'terror-free Turkey' target, an increase in provocations and destruction seeking should be expected. In this regard, strengthening our national unity and brotherhood, and patiently and steadfastly eradicating the seeds of discord that are intended to be sown between Turks and Kurds, is almost a moral duty of kifaye status to prevent our common fate from turning into a common sorrow.
The opposition's use of a prudent and responsible language, coming together and uniting on the basis of Turkey and the Turkish nation, is a duty imposed by our national identity, our national future, the honor of democracy, our historical heritage, and our cultural richness. If this duty is neglected and denied, it will lead to chain reactions in the political, social, and sovereign existence axis.
It is essential and urgent to find a fundamental solution to the questions and problems on the agenda that provoke the sensitivities of the Turkish nation, open the sense of justice, which is the essence and purpose of law, to discussion, and undermine and destroy moral and spiritual values by 2026.
"TURKEY IS NOT A COUNTRY THAT WILL TURN A BLIND EYE TO BETTING GANGS"
Turkey is not a country that will tolerate, turn a blind eye to, or remain indifferent to the drug and stimulant use that will be writhing under the infamous and unknown lowlifes who rely on betting gangs and match-fixing schemes.
Clean people, clean society, clean future, clean life is a matter of existence for our nation.
Whoever wishes to obscure or ruin this goal must pay a very heavy price in every aspect.

In order for Turkey to completely cleanse itself from the scandals it has recently faced and to manifest its existence in the new century more strongly by 2026, every political party, civil society organization, universities, and both heart and scientists must unite as one heart on the common responsibility alongside the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance.

I wish mercy from Allah for our heroic police officers who were martyred as a result of the fire opened by ISIS terrorists in Yalova on December 29, 2025, and for all martyrs.
I also wish health, wellness, and recovery for our heroic children who were injured in the attack in Yalova.
I say may Allah keep us safe from what we fear and grant us what we hope for.
