According to the information obtained, a fire extinguishing drill was conducted for the students by the school administration and the Yahşihan Municipality Fire Department teams.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE INCIDENT

The dense smoke from the fire lit during the drill and the dry chemical powder in the fire extinguisher spread to the area where the students were located due to the wind. 19 students were affected by the smoke and dust. The students were taken to the hospital by ambulances for treatment. It was learned that the health conditions of the students are good.

An administrative and judicial investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
