An operation was carried out against the armed criminal organization "Çirkinler" in Başakşehir, Istanbul. During the searches conducted at the suspects' addresses, a large number of weapons and drugs were found, and 7 suspects who were detained were arrested and sent to prison.
As part of the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the armed criminal organization 'Çirkinler', 7 suspects who were detained by police teams in Başakşehir were arrested by the court to which they were referred.
On December 12, the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office carried out an operation at a location in Başakşehir against individuals connected to the organization known as the armed criminal organization 'Çirkinler'.
WHAT WAS FOUND IN THE HOUSES
In the operation carried out, 7 individuals were detained. During the searches conducted at the suspects' addresses, 1 automatic Uzi weapon, 5 unlicensed handguns, 70 cartridges of various sizes, and 10 grams of narcotic substance were seized.
7 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Meanwhile, the 7 suspects who were detained were arrested and sent to prison by the judicial authorities to which they were referred, on charges of 'being a member of an armed criminal organization for profit' and 'possessing unlicensed firearms' after completing their procedures at the police station.
