The head of Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed in an attack on his residence in Tehran, where he was staying to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi. Hamas stated that the assassination of Haniyeh was carried out by Israel, causing outrage in the public. Following Haniyeh's assassination in Tehran, former Minister of Interior and AK Party Istanbul Deputy, Süleyman Soylu, also made a noteworthy statement. "WILL BE REMEMBERED AS THE EMBODIMENT OF INNOCENCE"Soylu said, "Since the first day of the American elections, it has turned into a despicable competition of how many more Palestinians will be killed...
